A unit with 25 travel speed will get to a castle 50 away in 200 minutes or 0.25 distance units a minute. There are many ways to increase food production. There are: Leveling up your Flour mill. Apply a temporary build item which increase food production. Increase public order. Extend your overseer. This means make the most of each hit, and try and be consistent with attacks. Better to send 1 attack each day, than 3 attacks in one day. Be smart. Attacks take a lot of time to build, and therefore launching a poorly tooled attack will be a waste.
